dc.description.abstract The spice export of Sri Lanka has on the value addition, product and market diversification and catering to the high-end market to enhance foreign exchange eamings of the country. The overall objective of this study was to study and analyze exporl for Sri Lankan cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, cloves and nutmeg and mace. The specific objectives are to 1) To identify the trend in spice export quantity and value from Sri Lanka. 2) To identify and analyze the producer's and expott prices of spices. This study used mainly secondary data. Secondary data collected from Central Bank Annual Reports (2010-2019), Department of Exporl Agriculture and various sources. Results of the analysis showed that there was positive correlation in export quantity, export value; export prices and producer's prices in all five major spices crop from 2010-2019. (Cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, cloves and nutmeg and mace) en_US
